Adult Basic and Secondary Education
Classes designed for adult learners who need to learn or re-learn basic reading, writing, math, or employment skills.
The Academic Learning Skills Department offers courses for college credit that help students succeed by improving their reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, basic math, and study skills.
Academic advising and personal and career counseling. Enrolled student's may meet with an adivosr or counselor on a drop-in basis.
The LCC Health Clinic provides a broad range of health care services for students taking credit classes, including evaluation and treatment for acute illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic conditions. Appointments are preferred; urgent visits are accommodated when possible. They also provide information and referrals to community resources.
Lane Library - Services for Students with Disabilities
The library provides facilities to give persons with disabilities equal access to its services and resources.
The Student Help Desk provides remote and in-person assistance with Moodle, myLane, WiFi, and other academic technologies. Click the link above for contact information.
The TRiO Learning Center at Lane Community College helps students succeed. It is a federally funded program with the goal of helping students stay in school and successfully graduate from Lane Community College and/or transfer to a four-year institution. Services are provided free to eligible students to assist them in meeting the varied challenges of college life.
One-on-one assistance in most academic subjects through peer tutoring.
Veteran's Education Benefits Office
Programs at Lane Community College are approved by the State Board of Higher Education State Approving Agency as qualified training for students eligible for Veterans Administration education benefits. A program of the Women's Center to assist women in transition to become economically self-sufficient.
The Science Resource Center (SRC) houses services and materials to help you succeed in your science classes.
The Math Resource Center (MRC) provides support for all students taking mathematics courses at Lane.
The mission of the Business Resource Center (BRC) is to serve students enrolled in credit classes at Lane Community College by providing supportive learning environments, instilling confidence, encouraging independence as learners, and providing individual peer tutorial assistance and academic support.
The Writing Center is a free service where qualified peer tutors assist Lane Community College students with any writing project.
