Transportation Survey Results
Lane's 2014 Transportation Survey was distributed electronically to all Lane students and employees in May 2014. 445 students and 330 employees took the survey representing 4% of students and 29% of employees. The survey results will help Lane better estimate greenhouse gas emissions from daily commuting and to develop transportation demand management programs that will support more climate-friendly modes of transportation. Here is a quick summary of some of the survey results:

- Carpool matching services, for example Zimride or Drive Less Connect - 15%
- Carpool only premium parking - 16%
- Prizes, competitions, and/or awards - 27%
- A parking fee for single occupant vehicle drivers - 11%
