Sustainable Practices - Energy

Lane strives for excellence in energy education and energy use in campus operations.  Lane's goal is to continually decrease energy use while continually increasing on-site renewable energy generation until the campus produces all energy needed on-site while including educational opportunities every step of the way.  Students conduct an analysis of energy use in a different building each year and made recommendations for improvements.  Students have also participated in the installation of several of our solar systems.
