History of Core Theme Development

After completing our Year Seven Self-Study, we recognized the need to reevaluate these themes. We asked for your input, inviting everyone at the college to send ideas about the current core themes and what would constitute more comprehensive core themes.

We also invited everyone to attend Lane's All Campus Core Themes Meeting facilitated by Carol Schaafsma. The PowerPoint slides and the video of the meeting are located below under Meetings.

Based on the feedback we received, the Institutional Effectiveness Committee drafted six potential new core themes. Please view the following resources and send your feedback on these potential core themes to InstitutionalEffectiveness@lanecc.edu, or via Lane's Institutional Effectiveness Discussion Blog by May 14, 2015:
