Institutional Effectiveness Committee

Institutional Effectiveness Committee

The Institutional Effectiveness Committee is the over-arching body that coordinates and analyzes college-wide assessment efforts, and so assesses effectiveness of the institution's many services and activities, evaluates degree of mission fulfillment, and disseminates information to the campus and community.

The IEC was created by the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs and the Vice President of College Services, who serve as chairs of the committee. The remainder of the membership is made up of representatives from all areas of the college: faculty, staff, students, and management. Some memberships are by position (the Assessment Team Chair). Others are by rotating assignment (e.g., the Program Review Classified Support member). Still others are 1- and 2-year assignments (the Student Representative and College Council Representatives, respectively). The IEC is formed by, and follows, the Institutional Effectiveness Committee's Charter.
