Northwest Indian Language Institute (NILI)
Training in applied language teaching and in linguistics to Native American language teachers of the Northwest though summer institute and on-site trainings. Consultation services to tribes in the areas of language program design, assessment, policy, linguistics, language documenting and archiving, and grant writing.

Sapsik'walá Program
Prepare American Indian teachers whose knowledge, skills, and cultural sensitivity will bring about long-term, much needed improvements in the elementary, middle, and high school educational experiences of American Indian youth.

Oregon Indian Education Association (OIEA)
Made up of thirty-three elected board members throughout the state, including Title VII Programs and the nine Federally Recognized tribes’ Education Departments. Creates collaborations with school districts, universities, and state officials to endorse an indigenous knowledge base that enhances, endorses and validates the higher learning of native students, so native students begin to see their place in this world and non natives benefit from seeing how much indigenous knowledge can contribute to a new cultural pedagogy of learning. American Indians of the Pacific Northwest Digital Collection
Extensive digital collection of original photographs and documents about the Northwest Coast and Plateau Indian cultures; essays written by anthropologists, historians, and teachers about particular tribes and cross-cultural topics from parts of Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Maps that show traditional territories or reservation boundaries. Essays include bibliographies and links to related text. In addition to specific tribes (Alaskan Tlingit and Tsimshian, Coeur d'Alene, Lushootseed, Makah, Nez Perce), cross-cultural topics include Indian Boarding Schools, Chief Seattle and Chief Joseph, Salmon, and Totem Poles.

Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board
Tribal advisory representing tribes of Washington, Oregon and Idaho on health-related matters and provides health-related technical assistance. Many links, publications, research, newsletters, jobs, and scholarship info.

Native American Youth Academy/Konaway Nika Tillicum
Konaway Nika Tillicum at Southern Oregon University places Native American youth who have completed grades 5 to 10 in a university setting to introduce them to educational and career possibilities. Students spend time with tribal elders and Native American teachers during classes, lectures, and outdoor presentations

Affiliated Tribes Of Northwest Indians Economic Development Corporation
Represents over 50 Tribes throughout a seven state region, which includes Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, Nevada, and Northern California. The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) was formed in response to the need for economic self-sufficiency within tribal communities. Programs in technology, tourism and energy.

Northwest Native American Basketweavers Association
Mission is to Preserve, Promote, and Perpetuate the traditional and contemporary art of Northwest Native American Basketry.

Northwest Indian Housing Association
Promotes safe, sanitary, decent and affordable housing for Tribal members in the Pacific Northwest.
