Greetings Music Majors!

We are excited you have chosen to begin your Music studies at Lane Community College. Lane has a very dedicated instructional staff and a wide array of offerings including music theory, technology, performance and lessons.

As you complete the Steps to Enroll at Lane, please be aware that there are some additional steps to starting right as a Music major. All Music students must complete a Music Theory Assessment before they can enroll in Music Theory fall term. Please review information about the assessment to determine if you are ready to complete it. If so, follow the instructions to schedule an appointment for the Music Theory Assessment prior to your New Student Academic Advising Session. This will enable you to register for the appropriate classes.
