Profile: Florabelle was born in Israel and up to her teen years trained at the Bat-Dor dance school in Israel, where she obtained 6 levels of dance certifications from the Royal Academy of Dance in London. While in Israel, Florabelle studied for her Bachelor in Dance and Dance Education at the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem, which is affiliated with the Hebrew University.

After receiving her Bachelor in 1991 as an outstanding student, Florabelle moved to Eugene and studied for her Masters at the University of Oregon. Florabelle has been an instructor at the Eugene Ballet Academy since 1993 and is currently also the Curriculum Coordinator at the School and an Assistant Director of the Eugene Youth Ballet.

Florabelle auditions young candidates for the Eugene Ballet Company and directs young performers. She was the ballet mistress for EBC Nutcracker in Corvallis and Salem. Florabelle has performed professionally in Israel and at the Dance Theater of Oregon in Eugene. Florabelle is currently also an adjunct instructor at the University of Oregon teaching Ballet and Salsa.

At Lane, Florabelle has been teaching Ballet since 2001. Florabelle was a member of the Salsa Con Sabor Portland dance group in 2003-2004 and the Seattle Bravo group in 2006-2007.
