Becoming a massage therapist was the last thing on Lane massage therapy program alum Sean Vierra's mind when he was an undergraduate chemistry student at the college.
Shirley Sieczkowski, a sign language instructor at Lane Community College since 1994, remembers well the day her first grade teacher misinterpreted her efforts to communicate.
Grateful for her experiences at Lane, Guidry says, “I was able to learn more easily, because the teachers were very supportive, and the class sizes were small."
