Mind Freedom Support Coalition (mental health system abuse)

Joint Forces Dance Company and Danceability

Regional Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTAC). American Association of People with Disabilities
Cross-disability organization promoting equal opportunity, economic power, independent living, and political participation for people with disabilities. Members include people with disabilities and our family, friends, and supporters. Association on Higher Education And Disability
Professional association committed to full participation of persons with disabilities in postsecondary education. Includes listings of trainings, employment, resources, events and workshops, international portal, conferences, and special section for students and special interest groups.

Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF)
Law and policy center dedicated to protecting and advancing the civil rights of people with disabilities through legislation, litigation, advocacy, technical assistance, and education and training of attorneys, advocates, persons with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities. Includes voting info, advocacy, legal issues, family issues, news, newsletters, extensive links.

Learning Disabilities Association
Largest non-profit volunteer organization advocating for individuals with learning disabilities. Includes news, resources, conferences, bookstore, legislative info, and areas for parents, teachers, and adults

Independent Living Research Utilization
Provides research, education and consultation in the areas of independent living, the Americans with Disabilities Act, home and community based services and health issues for people with disabilities. National Association of the Deaf

Information and resources on the educational, linguistic, social, and emotional development of deaf and hard of hearing children; formally known as the National Deaf Education Network Clearinghouse, is one of six national clearinghouses on disability-related issues. Shares information related to deaf and hard of hearing children from birth through age 21. Responds to inquiries from families, the general public, deaf and hard of hearing people, and professionals serving this population
