Legal aid and advice is free to all students who take credit classes on the main campus and are assessed the mandatory student activity fee. Beginning August 1, 2012 ASLCC Legal Services will be moving off campus to the Access the Law practice downtown at 245 West 13th Avenue in Eugene, Oregon 97401.

Access the Law is a not-for-profit law firm dedicated to serving the needs of students and those of modest means. Eligibility and the terms of legal services as a main campus LCC student remain unchanged. Marc Friedman, a practicing attorney, is available 30 hours per week, and limited hours during summer term. Appointments must be scheduled in advance, as there are no Drop-in Services. Appointments may be made by contacting Access the Law directly at (541) 686-4890 or online at the Access the Law Lane Student Portal. When requesting an appointment, you will need to provide your L-number and state the nature of the legal matter. You will need to take a copy of your current term schedule to the appointment to verify your status as a fee paying student.
