  • National Association for Multicultural Education - Advocates for Education Equity and Social Justice - non-profit that advances and advocates for equity and social justice through multicultural education.Includes media and conference information, resources.
  • Southern Poverty Law Center -  nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of society. Includes: Teaching Tolerance - an educational program to help K-12 teachers foster respect and understanding in the classroom; leading provider of anti-bias curriculum. Include daily news about groups and individuals working for tolerance and fighting hate; guides for adult and youth activists; resources for parents and teachers; and games for children.
  • Idealist.org - "connects people, organizations, and resources to help build a world where all people can live free and dignified lives." Includes listings of jobs, volunteer opportunities, internships, organizations, events, programs and more. International. Searchable. Versions in Spanish and French.
  • EdChange – Professional development, research and resources for diversity, multiculturalism and cultural competence. Also includes handouts and publications.
  • Understanding Prejudice - For students, teachers, and others interested in the causes and consequences of prejudice; more than 2,000 links to prejudice-related resources, as well as searchable databases with hundreds of prejudice researchers and social justice organizations. Also find a variety of interactive exercises on prejudice, stereotyping, and discrimination. 
  • Center for Research on Education, Diversity & Excellence (CREDE) – Research to identify and develop effective educational practices for linguistic and cultural minority students, as those placed at risk by factors of race, poverty, and geographic location.
  • Mandala Center - Multi-disciplinary non-profit education organization dedicated to community dialogue, social justice and personal transformation through experiential workshops, performances, and other creative events. Also an international hub for the training and grassroots practice of Augusto Boal's, Theatre of the Oppressed.
  • Multicultural Pavilion - Resources for educators, students, and activists. Includes historical documents, educational research, free printable/ downloadable resources and fact sheets, quotations, speeches, more.
  • Ethnic Majority – "Empowering people of color to make a difference." Includes a job database, demographics, newsletter, and a variety of topics ranging from education, civil rights, media, the workplace and business.
  • American Council on Education Inclusive Excellence Group - Focused on programs, resources and research to foster greater diversity and inclusion in higher education, particularly within senior leadership ranks.
  • Center for Multilingual Multicultural Research – Based in the University of Southern California, a center for research and program collaboration in multilingual education, English-as-a second language, foreign language instruction, multicultural education and related areas. Links to African American, Asian American, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American resources.
  • Diversity and Democracy Online Journal - published by the Association of American Colleges and Universities to provide campus practitioners with readily available information about successful diversity initiatives around the country. Articles contain references with links.
  • The Interchange Institute - Not-for-profit research organization to promote dialogue and understanding between people who move to a new country and their new communities. Provides workshops, consultations, publications, news and resources.
  • Diversity World – Two main sections: Workforce Diversity, with sub-topics on various groups and communities and Disability and Employment. Many excellent links, but note that some are no longer working links.
  • The Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research in the United States of America (SIETAR-USA) - Professional membership organization for those concerned with the challenges and rewards of intercultural relations. Includes newsblog, job board and conference/event information.
  • The National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) - International non-profit leadership development network dedicated to the elimination of racism and other forms of oppression
  • Diversity Workplace News – Headlines with links to variety of news articles about and of interest to Asian American, Disabled, Forty Plus, Gay & Lesbian, Hispanic, Native American, Veteran, and Women.
  • Association of Diversity Councils – "...Resource for diversity and inclusion council professionals and is dedicated to increasing the impact, effectiveness and recognition of diversity councils as an essential partner in developing, implementing and maintaining a strategic diversity focus within organizations." Includes networking, best practices conversations, measurement tools, trainings, etc.
  • In Motion Magazine - Multicultural, online U.S. publication about democracy. Includes extensive lists of articles, art, and information in sections such as rural America, civil rights, human rights, affirmative action, education rights, and global eyes.
  • First Run / Icarus Films - Distributing innovative and provocative documentary films from independent producers around the world.
  • California Newsreel – "Produces and distributes cutting edge, social justice films that inspire, educate and engage audiences." Resource center for the advancement of racial justice and diversity, and the study of African American life and history as well as African culture and politics. Since 2006, also a thematic focus on the Global Economy, with an emphasis on the international division of labor.
