Assessment and Accreditation

Lane has a dynamic Assessment Team (A-Team) comprised of faculty and staff from across the college, and this team directly contributes to Lane's culture of assessment. Through their efforts, we have five clear Core Learning Outcomes (CLOs) for the college. The team supports an ongoing conversation about assessment and provides faculty professional development funds for assessment projects, including developing rubrics to assess the CLOs in different disciplines. Lane's institutional self-study incorporates input from, and data gathered by, our A-Team in order to provide evidence of how well we meet the accreditation standards, fulfill the goals and objectives of our mission and Core Themes .
