Welcome!

The Lane Community College Volunteer Tutor program provides individual and small group tutoring for adult students in Basic Skills, GED, and English as a Second Language. The program has been in existence since the mid 1980's and is located at the Lane Community College Downtown Campus. Volunteers receive 12 hours of free training and are then placed with students at any of our campus locations and outreach sites, meeting with their students 1 - 2 hours each week.

Lane students who have been accepted into the Honors Program are welcome to volunteer.

U.O. students may volunteer to fulfill the requirements for PLE practicums.
