EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Early Childhood Education program is excited to partner with Family Forward Oregon and Family Connections of Lane and Douglas Counties to present, "Raising of America." This documentary film screening and the discussion that follows will advocate taking direct action so that paid family leave and affordable, high-quality child-care can become social realities. Students, staff and community members concerned about income inequality and the devastating consequences this has on families and invited to attend this free event on Thursday, October 20 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the LCC Longhouse (Building 31) on main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene. Light refreshments will be served.
