EUGENE, Ore.— Hands-on Career Day will be held Friday, February 14, at Lane Community College main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue in Eugene.
This annual event, hosted by Lane's High School Connections Department, is expected to attract 300 Lane County high school students this year. They will participate in hands-on workshops in their choice of 21 different career and technical programs. Campus tours and lunch also are offered.
Activities begin at 9 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m., both in the Ragozzino Performance Hall in Building 6. Hands-on workshops will be held in classrooms and labs around campus (see attached workshops list).
