Media Arts Computer Labs

The following labs are open to all students enrolled in Media Arts curriculum. Software used in Media Arts courses is available in these labs.

• Media Arts indie Lab [building 17 room 205, located off the Media Arts Commons on the 2nd floor]
  Hours: M-F 8:30am - 4pm
  Lab assistance personnel and their schedules are posted inside the lab on the board.
• Media Arts Computer Classroom Lab [building 17 room 113]
  Hours: M-F, availability is subject to times when class is not in session or with instructor permission.
  No scheduled assistance is available.

Other Labs on campus

• The Media Creation Station is located in the Lane Library. Hours are 7:30am-7pm M-Th and 7:30am-5:30pm F. This lab is for all Lane CC students. The Adobe Creative Cloud sorftware and other software for creation of media is available. Academic Technology hopes to provide lab aides in the near future.

Media Arts Computer Lab Policy

LABS MAY NOT BE USED FOR ANYTHING BUT COURSE WORK

• Do not unplug cables or modify the Computer Workstation.
• You may modify the furniture and chair
• Please be quiet and respectful to others at all times
• Please silence your mobile devices while in the labs
• Use the lobby area or outdoors for conversation and phone calls
• No eating or drinking beverages
• Please keep your feet off of the furniture
• Please pick up after yourself
• Please log off when you are done working on the computer

*Open Lab hours may change term to term. Lab hours vary during finals week. Check the lab for the current term schedule.
