Request for Exception to ESL Attendance Policy

Students with a medical emergency or other unavoidable circumstances may submit an appeal with supporting documentation to request an exception. Exceptions are rare.

• Except in case of emergency, the appeal for an exception must be submitted at least 10 days in advance.

• For medical emergencies the appeal must be submitted as soon as possible after the emergency.

• If you miss too many classes, you must submit an appeal form within 2 business days after receiving an email from the international programs office.
