ESL Job opportunities
English as a Second Language Department uses student workers to help in many ways. We have opportunities for students to work one-on-one with students in the classrooms, assist instructors with projects during their class time and also to work in the office completing a variety of projects. Student workeres gain skills in working in office and classroom environments and in working with students from a variety of countries and cultures.
Lane students awarded Federal Work Study funds as well as any student with an interest in working on campus while enrolled at Lane are encouraged to apply. Log onto Lane's Jobs Connections website to look for these opportunities.
English as a Second Language Department lists all employment opportunities for non-students and students on Lane's website.

Internship and practicum opportunities:
Students in ESL-related education programs often request placements, internships and observation opportunities in Lane's ESL classes. To inquire about internship, observation and practicum opportunities, contact Division Dean Anna Gates-Tapia at (541) 463-5515 or by emailing gates-tapiaa@lanecc.edu.
