The Hospitality industry offers exciting, varied careers in several areas such as: hotel management, meeting and special event management, restaurant management and ownership, and travel and tourism-related business.  With a degree in Hospitality Management, students have various opportunities for a challenging and rewarding career that can take them around the world if they so choose!

The Hospitality Management Program is proudly accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA)!

We offer a 2-Year AAS Degree in Hospitality Management and a 1-Year Certificate of Completion in Meeting, Convention, and Special Events Manager.  Apply and start your hospitality education at any time during the year!

The minimum amount of credits to graduate in the Hospitality Management 2-Year AAS Program is 95 credits.

The minimum amount of credits to obtain a 1-Year Certificate of Completion in Meeting, Convention, and Special Events Manager is 35 credits.

You can begin the admission process for the Hospitality Management Program in preparation to submit your Application Materials. Just follow these steps:

  1. Lane Community College Admission
    Apply to Lane Community College. Once you are a Lane student you will receive an 'L' number. This number is required on your Culinary Arts application.
  2. Placement Testing
    Take placement tests in reading, writing, and math. Minimum scores needed to apply to the program are reading-68 and writing-64 and readiness for Math 25. If you have prior college credit in writing or math, attach an unofficial transcript to your application. Your unoffcial transcripts must be approved and documented by program counselor or advisor. The Document must be attached to the appication when submitted. Math must be current within one year or a placement test will need to be taken.
