Timely Tips: Before the Term Begins

• If you are a new student, have done your testing, orientation, advising and registration?
• Do you know your assigned Academic Advisor or Counselor?
• Locate required textbooks at titanstore.lanecc.edu/SelectTermDept.aspx. Find the date you can begin buying your books. Be sure to take a printout of your term schedule with you to the bookstore. It needs to be printed the day you visit the bookstore.
• Check your Financial Aid award and status on themyFinancestab. Immediately respond to any requests from the Financial Aid office for further information or additional steps.
• Have you checked your class schedule to be sure there have been no changes? Check out your schedule on the myEnrollment tab.
• Use your schedule and the campus map to locate your classrooms; visit campus and walk your route to find each building and the classroom prior to the start of the term.
• View your term account balance on the myFinances page.
• Be sure that all your personal information is current and correct: address, e-mail and phone number(s)-go to Personal Information on Home tab.
