Second Hand Smoke
According to the surgeon general, there is no risk-free level of exposure to secondhand smoke. Even brief exposure to secondhand smoke causes acute respiratory effects such as cough, phlegm, wheezing and breathlessness. People who have asthma are at especially high risk for being affected by secondhand smoke. These risks of secondhand smoke are present both out and indoors.
