“Chemtrails, Climate Science, and Clickbait: A Meteorologist’s View of Pseudoscience” Oct. 26 at LCC Downtown Campus

image of event posterEUGENE, Ore. - A free presentation, “Climate Science, Chemtrails, Climate Science, and Clickbait: A Meteorologist’s View of Pseudoscience,” will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Lane Community College Downtown Campus, Rooms 112-114. The talk begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by Q&A from 8-9 p.m. The public is invited.

“We think there’s a need to explore misunderstandings in the Earth sciences particularly with respect to what people observe on a daily basis, and on what has become a contentious issue—climate,” said Ruscher. "There is tremendous interest around science in this election cycle, as well.”

Dr. Paul Ruscher, science dean at Lane and a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society, will present. Lane will live-stream the event (see https://www.lanecc.edu/science/climate )
