EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is currently accepting registration for their Employee Management Program, designed for small business owners or managers in larger organizations who want to improve their skills and interactions with their employees.
This program, taught through a process of peer-to-peer, one-on-one and business coaching, will teach you how to locate and hire the best employees, increase employee effectiveness and improve employee relations. Finally, learn to apply the lessons taught during class to help ensure the success of each owner/manager. The program meets for a series of 10 classes over a 10-month period from September 2016 through June 2017 at a cost of $999 for new clients with price breaks for SBM clients. This low cost is made possible through community, state and federal funding that saves participants over $2000 per person.
All Small Business Management Programs are designed in the Lane SBDC’s recognizable formula of: education, business coaching and peer interaction. Employee Management Program covers employee management topics through a customized curriculum, helping business owners or managers identify and prioritize outcomes and devise plans to achieve them.
