EUGENE, Ore. - A Plein Air painting workshop, "Escape to Cityscapes," will be taught by local artist Patti McNutt on June 20-22. This fundraiser for The David Joyce Gallery will be held at the Lane Community College downtown campus in Eugene at 101 W. 10th Avenue, Room 112.
Participants will spend three days exploring composition, color, values, patterns and other elements of outdoor painting with emphasis on buildings, vanishing points, simplifying complex scenes and color harmonies.

David Joyce Gallery carries on the legacy of inclusion of David Joyce, artist and teacher. The gallery is located in Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 15, at Lane Community College main campus.
The gallery supports art in its many forms and sources, teaching, inspiring and providing visual pleasure. The gallery creates a fresh thematic series of three exhibits each year, exhibiting the glory and wonder of food, growing plants, culinary arts, hospitality, food markets, travel and the people who learn, work and live in these worlds.
