EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Budget Committee will hold its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, May 11, at 5 p.m. The committee will receive the FY17 proposed budget and budget message. Subsequent meetings are scheduled for May 18 to continue discussion and accept public comment; and, if needed, again on May 25. The Board of Education will be asked to adopt the budget at its June 8 meeting. All Budget Committee meetings will be held in the LCC boardroom, building 3, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene.
Following the Budget Committee meeting, the Lane Community College Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m., same location. Prior to the meeting at 4:00 p.m., the board will meet in executive session under ORS 192.660(1)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations; ORS 192.660(1)(h), Legal Counsel; and ORS 192.660(1)(e), Real Property Transactions.
