This theme was chosen to celebrate the visit of David Joyce's iconic "flying people" from the Eugene Airport to the David Joyce Gallery at the Center for Meeting and Learning.

"We are honored to offer a delightful spectrum of artwork and art mediums showcasing 'Taking Flight' created by Northwest artists," says David Joyce Gallery Director Susan Detroy. The exhibit includes work from Demetra Kalams, Anne Tiegan, JS Bird, and Kat Gottfried, as well as the visiting exhibit of David Joyce's "Flight Patterns."

The exhibit runs now through January 8, 2016. The gallery is open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and during special events at the Center for Meeting and Learning in Building 19, Lane Community College, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene.
