EUGENE, Ore. – Sarah Burkhart and Friends will be in concert Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ragozzino Performance Hall on the LCC main campus.
Sarah was recently awarded a $50,000 scholarship to complete her Jazz vocal studies at the prestigious Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. "I feel like I wouldn't be going there if I hadn't had this experience here, for sure, with all the teachers and other students that you learn from," she said. "It's definitely a big deal for me."
Other artists performing with her on July 26 will be her most influential instructor and coach at Lane, renowned vocalist Siri Vik. The concert also will include Vicki Brabham on piano, vocalist Sara Renee Smaw, the Songbird Singers women's a capella choir, Sean Perkins, Nick Baltazar Alvarez, Alvin Almazing Johnson, Dalton Lott, the Sarah Burkhart Big Band, Ron Bertucci, Nathalie Fortin, Tony Glausi and many others. They will be performing twenty Jazz, Musical Theatre, Classical, Choral and Big Band tunes. Sarah is producing this concert on her own.

Admission is $5 - $15, sliding scale at the door the night of the concert.
