Teach-in on the health risks and politics of cell phones, May 27 at LCC

EUGENE, Ore. – Lane Peace Center and the UO Cultural Forum are co-sponsoring a "Mobilize" teach-in focused on the health risks of cell phone use and political maneuvering of the wireless industry. The teach-in is on Wednesday, May 27 from 6-8:00 p.m. in building 17, room 309, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue in Eugene.

The event will feature a screening of the film "Mobilize: A Film about Cell Phone Radiation" from 6-7:30 p.m., followed by a Q&A session via Skype with the film's director Kevin Kunze and co-producer Ellen Marks.

Lane offers teach-ins as part of its commitment to providing the community with accessible, quality, learning-centered opportunities.
