Robertson's lecture, "Sustainability: Surviving and Thriving in a Changing World," will offer an overview of the broad and diverse field of sustainability including a view of the biosphere as the "instruction manual" on which sustainability work is modeled, connections between the human sphere and the biosphere, and the possibilities for a regenerative future in a healthy and sustainable world.
Robertson is a coordinator of the two-year associate of applied science sustainability coordinator degree program at Lane. She is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and a Sustainability Fellow in the Higher Education Associations Sustainability Consortium. Her textbook is used by colleges and universities with sustainability degree programs and programs in which sustainability is taught.
