EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Community College is pleased to host the newest Toastmasters Club, The Titan Toastmasters, on Wednesday, April 16 from noon-1 p.m. on the main campus in Building 19, Room 241. This initial informational meeting is free, open to the public and will include light refreshments. Lane students, staff, faculty and community members are encouraged to attend to learn how Toastmasters will help you become a better leader and communicator.
Lane SBDC proudly hosts three other Toastmasters clubs—Lunch Bunch, Cascade Toastmasters, and Yawn Patrol—which meet at the new downtown campus. To quote a Lunch Bunch Club member, "Toastmasters is the most effective and inexpensive way to improve personally and professionally. I've witnessed new members transform into better speakers and leaders in 6-12 months!" Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development, with over 292,000 members in 122 countries. Toastmasters meetings allow participants to practice public speaking and leadership skills in a comfortable and supportive learning atmosphere.
Please come to this April 16 meeting and help "charter" the new Lane Community College main-campus Titan Toastmasters Club!
