End of Term Concerts at LCC

Lane Gospel Choir PerformsEUGENE, Ore. – The Lane Community College Music Program is presenting the following end-of-term concerts. All shows are at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragozzino Performance Hall. Tickets are $5 general admission and $3 for students, staff and seniors 55+, and can be purchased online at lanecc.edu/tickets or at the door before each concert.

November 26 – The Lane Symphonic Band, under the direction of Paul Krueger, will perform a program titled "Abracadabra", which in addition to the title song by Frank Ticheli, features works by Vaclav Nehlybel, Norman Dello Joio and Ralph Vaughn Williams.

December 5 – The Lane Concert Choir, under the direction of Katie Reuter; The Lane Chamber Choir, under the direction of Matthew Svoboda; and the Lane Gospel Choir will present a joint program. The Concert Choir will be presenting music from different cultures, during which they will sing in Hebrew and Zulu, and two traditional Christmas Carols from Catalonia and England. The Chamber Choir will be offering an eclectic set of folk songs from Panama, America and the Channel Islands; and a lively set of Christmas songs arranged for Jazz Choir. The Gospel Choir will perform a set of gospel favorites.

December 6 – The Lane Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Paul Krueger, will perform a program of new and old Jazz favorites, including the ever – popular "Cresent City Stomp" by Eric Richards.

As an added treat, the Lane Jazz Combos, under the direction of Ron Bertucci will perform for the first time in the fall end-of-term concert series on December 10, at 5:00 p.m. in the Ragozzino Performance Hall.
