EUGENE, OR - The public is invited to the grand opening of the Lane Community College Downtown Campus Academic Building, on Friday, March 15 at 1 p.m., 101 W. 10th Avenue in Eugene.
Students have been enjoying the new instructional space since the doors opened for winter term classes in January. Now members of the public can drop by for a short presentation followed by tours of the high-tech, innovative learning building.
The Downtown Campus is regarded as a landmark project for education, business and the community. It allows Lane to offer training and services at an accessible, convenient location while stimulating downtown revitalization and fulfilling sustainability goals.
