Eugene OR - On Friday March 8 at 7:30pm and Sunday, March 10 at 2:00pm, Lane Community College will host the play "Paul Robeson", written by Phillip Hayes Dean, and performed by Dr. Stanley Coleman. Both performances will be in the Ragozzino Performance Hall on the LCC main campus, 4000 East 30th Avenue in Eugene.
"Paul Robeson" tells the story of the famous and award-winning African-American athlete, singer, actor, and advocate for the civil rights of people around the world. Proceeds from VIP ticket sales will be donated to the Lane Community College Black Student Union Scholarship Fund.
Tickets are $5 for general admission, and VIP seating is available at $25, $50, $100, $250 and $500 price levels and may be purchased in advance at www.lanecc.edu/tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door.
