Wendy Jett named Lane Community College Foundation director

EUGENE, OR - The Lane Community College Foundation has named its former director of development, Wendy Jett, as foundation director.Wendy Jett

"Wendy has an extensive background in fundraising and nonprofits and has done an amazing job as the Foundation's director of development," says Janet Anderson, who is retiring as the foundation's director. "We believe Wendy has the passion and experience needed to lead and grow the department for the benefit of students and donors."

Jett reinvigorated the Foundation's planned giving program, raising several major gifts and more than $9 million in planned gifts in the past two years. She also helped lead the Foundation's recent Opening Doors campaign to a successful conclusion in 2012. The campaign raised more than $29 million for capital construction, scholarships and programs at Lane.

Prior to joining the Foundation in 2011, Jett served as development director of the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business, and Cal Poly Pomona's College of Business and Claremont Graduates University's Peter F. Drucker School of Management. As a fundraising and board development consultant to numerous nonprofit organizations nationwide, she directly raised over $25 million for her clients.

Jett received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Michigan and graduated with a law degree from the University of California-Los Angeles.
