The event is designed for Lane students—current, prospective and former—who want to transfer. The UO will send representatives from multiple departments to Lane and offer numerous workshops to help students understand the transfer process. Individual advising appointments and workshops both will be offered.

Advising appointments will be available on a drop-in basis during the event.

Workshops will cover admissions, financial aid, women's services, LGBTQA, veterans' services, study abroad, multicultural services, school of business, school of journalism, and more. There will be lots of information, plus door prizes.

"We are collaborating to make this a successful event for LCC students who want to transfer, and give them the opportunity to make personal connections and identify resources ahead of time," said Susan Shipp, assistant dean of counseling and advising at Lane.
