EUGENE, OR - Nine Lane Community College culinary arts students and alumni are traveling with hospitality management instructor Adrienne Dombrosky, at their own expense, to the International Culinary Exhibition Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany from October 5-10. More than 1,500 chefs from 45 nations will compete in various categories. The students will be able to observe chefs in competition action as well as dine at the Restaurant of Nations and attend guided city tours of Erfurt and Heidelberg. This is the first international event opportunity for students and alumni from the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management program at Lane, which is accredited by the American Culinary Federation. Students will receive ACF continuing education credit for their experience.
