Eugene, OR - With jobs hard to come by, many unemployed are considering opening a business as an alternative source of income. Lane Community College's Small Business Development Center has been receiving a high number of requests for advice on running food related businesses. In response, the SBDC is offering a workshop on operating a successful restaurant. The workshop will be offered Thursday, July 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in room 106 of the LCC Wildish building, located at 1445 Willamette Street, Eugene. This workshop is ideal for current restaurant operators and those thinking of entering the restaurant business. Great food and a sincere interest are only part of the recipe for a successful restaurant. The cost of the class is $99 for the first participant and $69 for the second person.
