EUGENE, OR – The new Lane Community College downtown student housing building at 975 Charnelton Street, Titan Court, is now leasing to students for fall term occupancy.
Students can apply online at www.titancourt.com or call (541) 344-2828 or email info@titancourt.com
The college hired the property management firm Blanton Turner in April to manage services including marketing, operating, maintenance and housekeeping. Blanton Turner operates Broadway Place and Boulders on the River in Eugene, plus properties in Seattle including student housing at Seattle University and the University of Washington.
The five-story Titan Court has 75 apartments including 15 studio apartments, five two-bedroom/double-occupancy apartments, and 55 four-bedroom apartments, to accommodate a total of 255 residents.
Each apartment is fully furnished including a flat-screen TV. Each floor has a study lounge and a laundry room with card-operated machines that text you when your load is done. The building has free wi-fi. There are 56 interior bicycle stalls plus 74 exterior stalls for the campus and 47 indoor stalls for the academic building. Residents with vehicles can park in the city garage across Charnelton Street.
The décor features a variety of cool colors but the building is green to the core. The building has solar-heated water, a high-performance building envelope that regulates temperatures, triple-glazed windows that open, and other features that will qualify the structure for the LEED Gold energy efficiency rating.
Prices include all utilities including cable TV and Internet and are comparable with other downtown student housing. Rents are $520/month per person for a shared two-bedroom unit, $620/month for a private room in a four-bedroom apartment, and $875 for a private single-occupancy studio.
Applicants must be enrolled in at least six credits at Lane Community College, the University of Oregon or Northwest Christian University. One-year leases are available.
