EUGENE, OR – Lane Community College will show "A Festival of Films From Around the Islamic World" on seven upcoming Wednesdays beginning April 11, all in Building 17, Room 307, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene. The films are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. The films include:
- April 11: "Mooz-lum," an American feature-length film directed by Qasim Basir
- April 25: Two Palestinian shorts, "Mute" directed by Muayad Alayan, and "Shooting Muhammad" directed by Francesco Cannito
- May 2: "Le Grand Voyage" directed by Ismael Ferroukhi of Morocco
- May 9: "Youssou N'Dour: I Bring What I Love" directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi
- May 16: "Earth" directed by Deepa Mehta of India
- May 23: "Ten" directed by Abbas Kiarostami of Iran
- May 30: "The Lizard" directed by Kamal Tabrizi of Iran
