EUGENE, OR - The Lane Community College Titan basketball teams host the Fifth Annual Jam the Gym night on Saturday, January 21, Building 5, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene (map: Campus locations).
Both the men's and women's teams face conference rival Clackamas. Tip-off for the women's game is 4 p.m. and the men play at 6 p.m.
It could be a nail-biting night. Currently, the Lane men are 6-8 and 0-2 and the Clackamas men are 6-8 and 0-2. The Lane women are 12-3 and 2-0 and the Clackamas women are 13-1 and 2-0.
Bi-Mart will give away special Jam the Gym T-shirts to the first 500 spectators. Everyone who brings non-perishable food items to donate to Food for Lane County will get in free. There will be other giveaways throughout both games, as well as opportunities to meet Ty the Titan mascot and several of the Lane athletes.
