Quality Enhancement of Online
This project benefits all Lane faculty and students
The project team consists primarily of IT staff
This initiative aims to enhance the quality of online and hybrid courses that already exist or are in development and to help shepard a traditional course through the process of becoming an online or a hybrid course.
Courses identified for enhancement will receive assistance in the form of instructional design, media and asset production as needed, and assistance with optimizing the course within the learning management system.
This project offers a process and resources so that any online or hybrid course can be made as rich and engaging for students as possible. With enhanced courses, we should be able to boost completion rates for online courses.
Having staff that can focus on content creation will also allow us to maintain 508 compliance with any new content that is generated and allow us to retrofit prior generated content.
