Email - Groupwise
Groupwise is the email system used by Lane Community College. The Groupwise client is installed on Lane computers. Groupwise can also be accessed through the web by clicking the GW icon found in the footer of every Lane web page. Groupwise email can be accessed on most phones and other devices. Contact the Help Desk for assistance using Groupwise, client installation, or access on devices. Online help is available by clicking the Training and Tutorials icon (upper right corner) after logging into the Groupwise.
New Accounts: If you are a new employee, the admin staff person in the department for which you were hired will request an account for you. If you are a department admin and wish to request new accounts, please submit a request to the Online HelpDesk. IT Direct can also be used for name changes and departmental moves.

Deleting Accounts: Faculty and classified staff accounts are deleted automatically 30 days after their final separation from the college. Management employees' working agreement provides email as a continued benefit.
