What is Co-op?
Cooperative Education (Co-op) is an educational partnership between Lane Community College, the business community, and Lane students.
Co-op integrates on-the-job, work experience with academic studies. Students earn credit and a grade while working full-time or part-time in positions related to their career and academic goals.
Approximately 2,000 Lane Students work at Co-op job sites each year. Co-op opportunities are available in most Lane Programs.
Cooperative Education Employer of the Year awards honor exceptional employers for providing work-based learning experiences for Lane Students. More than 800 employers participate as Co-op sites each year.
