Minutes - May 20, 2009

1.  Attendance
Board members present: Bob Ackerman, Pat Albright, Paul Holman, Susie Johnston, and Tony McCown. Roger Hall and Pat Riggs-Henson were absent. Also present were: President Mary Spilde; Executive Assistant to the President Tracy Simms; Vice President Sonya Christian and Associate Vice President Greg Morgan.

A. Chair Johnston called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.

2. Discussion/Action Items
A. Architect Services for Building 2 and Performance Hall
Spilde explained that the college is ready to sell bonds in order to contract architectural work for the Building 2 and Performance Hall bond projects.

Ackerman moved Solarc, Inc, of Eugene Oregon be awarded a contract for $209,000 for architectural services for major renovations to Building 2 to including modernization of classrooms and offices, upgrading the data center, and adding enhanced fire suppression systems, and upgrading the Performance Hall to allow for the addition of an elevator. McCown seconded.

Motion passed unanimously.
