Private Pilot Course - Airplane Single Engine Land (ASEL)
Prepares pilots to carry passengers anyplace in the world. Students will learn to fly cross-country during day and night. The course involves a minimum of 35-training hours.
Professional Pilot Course - Commercial and Instrument ASEL
Prepares pilot to carry passengers for hire. This course includes training in complex airplanes and extended cross country training. Multiengine experience may be included. This course involves a minimum of 190-hours including the Private Pilot Course.
Commercial Pilot Course ASEL
This course is for those who come with a Private Pilot certificate and Instrument rating. It includes the experiences listed above. This course gives 35-hours credit for Private Pilot and 35-hours for the Instrument rating. It requires a minimum of 120-hours
Instrument Pilot Course
This course prepares Private Pilots for the Instrument Rating in a minimum of 35-hours. Newly certified Private Pilots can receive their instrument rating without the normal cross-country experience requirement.
Airline Transport Pilot Proficiency Course
This course provides extended IFR cross-country experience to distant high-volume destinations both in the Flight Training Device and in the Piper Seminole. Students will gain appropriate experience to help prepare for an "airline interview." Students do not have to have the minimum flight hour requirements for ATP. Prerequisites are:
- Commercial AMEL
- Current Third Class Physical
Our Frasca 142 Flight Training Device is set up as a Piper Seminole. The navigation package includes dual ILS, HSI, RMI and DME. Our Seminole is equipped with Appollo GX50 GPS and an MX20 Multifunction Display.
