Google Docs

Google Docs

Google Docs is a free, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing and form application offered by Google. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Jump down to Files and Resources to get started with Google Docs or view the video Google Docs in Plain English for a quick, fun overview.

What do I need to get started?
All you need is a gmail account (Google email) and a web browser. There is no need to create a new account if you already have one.

To create an account go to: Gmail and choose the link "Create a New Account" in the lower right corner of your screen. Follow the directions and you'll be up and running in no time. To access your account at a later date go to Google Docs or Gmail. You will be asked to login with your email and password. Once you are logged in you will see the Google Docs access and tools in the upper left corner.
