Welcome to Titan Ed Talks
Titan Ed Talks:
The Titan Ed talks project was commissioned by Vice President Sonya Christian. Here is an excerpt from her remarks on May 4, 2012 at the Spring Conference
Have you seen a Ted talk? Simply put a Ted talk is a short presentation made on an "idea worth sharing" by a scholar, thinker, or innovator utilizing visual interest and design flare for delivery. The original Ted talks are almost three decades old creating a community from the three worlds of technology, entertainment, and design. No surprise therefore, that although the topics are now wide and varied the presentation still embodies its roots of technology, entertainment, and design.
So, do we have ideas worth sharing at Lane? Look around the room and count the Lane faces. What was the count? 400? Now multiply that by 10. That makes it 4000 ideas worth sharing. Perhaps with the 4000 ideas Lane can become a tedx site which will foster the spirit of Ted's mission "ideas worth sharing".
