Admission Information

1.   Lane Community College Admission

Fill out an application for admission to the college. If you have never taken credit classes at Lane, we encourage you to apply online as it is the fastest and simplest way to become a student at Lane. For more information on how to get started, please visit our Enrollment Services page.

2.   Placement Testing

The Testing Office is located in Building #1, Student Services in Room 116.

New Students: Complete college placement tests in reading, writing, and math. Minimum placement test scores are: reading-68, and writing-64.

Students with Prior College: Bring a copy of your transcript(s) when you meet with a program advisor. Math must be current within one year or a placement test will need to be taken.

3.   Program Advising

Meet with a program advisor to determine what classes you should take for your career goals and to ensure entry into the program. Advisors meet with students during their drop-in office hours.
