The Veterans' Administration is authorized by Congress to provide a monthly payment to eligible veterans and dependents who are enrolled in Veterans' Administration approved education programs. The benefits are offered as an inducement to veterans and eligible dependents to receive education and training that may lead to employment in civilian jobs. Lane Community College is accepted through the State of Oregon, Department of Education, State Approving Agency, as a qualified training institution for students eligible for Veterans' Administration education benefits.

Veterans Services is located on the first floor of Building 19, Center for Meeting and Learning, Room 233. Office hours are:

9:00 am - 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday
and 8:00 am - 12:00 Noon every Friday
throughout the year, except for legal holidays and school closures.
